Welcome to Ajax Blackjack a game by AWC

Welcome to AWC Ajax Blackjack. This game in currently in development, so doesn't look too pretty and will have some bugs, but we've made a demo available at this stage to help us test the game. We hope you enjoy playing, but can't guarantee it is all working properly at the moment. In particular, don't expect the game to work if you are behind a proxy server.

We have tested the game with the following browsers. Don't expect the game to work unless your browser is on the list, but if it does, please let us know:

• Firefox v1.5 and later on Windows XP & Firefox v2 on Linux
• Internet Explorer v6 and v7 on Windows XP
• Safari v3.1.2 on Windows XP
• Google Chrome v0.2.149.29 on Windows XP (but with animation problem - cards aren't visible while being dealt)
• Opera v9 on Windows XP (but with animation problem - cards aren't visible while being dealt)

• You must log in before you can play
• Click on the boxes to place your bets - choose different chip values by clicking the appropriate chip (bottom right)
• Depending on the table configuration, you may need to occupy more than one box in order for a hand to start (as is the case in some British casinos)
• To remove chips from a box, click the add/remove icon '+' (bottom right, to the left of the chip value selectors) to switch to removal mode. Clicking on a box will now remove those a chip of the selected value (if it contains one). Don't forget to click the removal mode icon (now a '-') again to revert back to addition mode.
• Click 'R' to repeat your previous bets
• You can go onto 'auto-pilot' by clicking 'AP1' or 'AP2' (a different strategy is played by each)

This game is a demonstration of a true real-time multiplayer game that doesn't require proprietary technologies such as Flash or Java. The front-end utilises only the modern web browser's in-built technologies - HTML, CSS and Javascript.
